Pittman is one of Henderson's original neighborhoods, tracing back to the city's founding as a WWII-era Basic Magnesium townsite — genuinely some of the oldest residential blocks in the valley. Whitney Ranch, just south, is a different era entirely: a master-planned community from the early 1990s with Spanish Colonial-style homes and brick driveways, plus its own recreation center, pools, and the Whitney Mesa Nature Preserve. Together they're a different job mix than the newer subdivisions — original plumbing fixtures, older electrical panels needing outlet or switch updates, and drywall that's seen decades of settling, alongside 90s-era finish work in Whitney Ranch homes.
It's a straightforward drive from our Summerside Ct base, and this stretch — especially the older Pittman blocks — tends to generate more repair calls than install calls compared to the newer communities we cover. Both neighborhoods sit close to the Water Street District downtown, so we're often able to combine a stop here with errands or material pickups on the same trip.
Drywall repair and texture matching in older homes where settling cracks and old patch jobs are common.
Door hardware and window repair on original fixtures that have outlived their expected lifespan.
90s-era fixture refreshes in Whitney Ranch — vanities, faucets, and cabinet hardware original to the community's early-90s build-out.
